The Sacred Art: Warren Kay

I was recently introduced to the work of theologian, author, and coach, Dr. Warren Kay, by my wife. Dr. Kay is the chair of the Department of Religious Studies and recently retired cross country coach at Merrimac College. His book Running - The Sacred Art: Preparing to Practice (Art of Spiritual Living Series) is an exploration of what Dr. Edward Hastings has described as "the good news of running" or the Gospel of Running.

World-Class: Dave Denniston

It's been almost a year since [iX3]sports interviewed Dave Denniston. In that time, Dave has been very busy indeed. He's back in the water hoping to make the USA Paralympic swim team to represent the US in Beijing and has started a non-profit, High Country PALS, which aims to help families who have a disabled family member enjoy the outdoors. We were able to catch up with Dave again and he answered a few questions for [iX3]sports.

Former national champion and #3 world-ranked professional triathlete turned coach and author, Brad Kerns, has a new book out, How Lance Does It. Following his racing career Brad has focused his energy on motivating others and helping them to achieve greater levels of performance in their athletic and personal pursuits.
